ImHosted.com Harassing Me

January 8th, 2007

So, if you remember I was with ImHosted.com for a week or two trying out there services then I switched back to Skynethosting.net.

Now several weeks after I stopped using their services, I start getting some emails. The first was a warning that I am using their services for spam, and if I do not stop they will suspend my account. I thought I canceled my account! Anyways, I email back explaining to them there must be some misunderstanding because I canceled the service. NO RESPONSE!!!

Second email I get a few weeks later, Thank you for signing up with ImHosted.com AGAIN! NO! I didn’t sign up with them again. What a company. They refunded me but can’t even cancel an account properly. Now they are signing me up automatically. I emailed again explaining I did not sign up, I do not want your services, and to stop emailing/harassing me. I shall wait for a response if it ever comes.

So far, ImHosted.com is the only service that comes back from the dead to haunt you. With the experience I’ve had with them before and now, I wouldn’t recommended them anymore regardless of their services.

St-Denis Funeral

January 3rd, 2007

Today was the funeral for Paul, Roger, and (Daughter) Angela St-Denis. This was the first funeral and friend I’ve ever lost. The ordeal has been difficult for all of us, but meeting the family of the Paul St-Denis has helped. I met the mother and sister, and my friends and I expressed our condolences. I found some relief from the mother’s and sister’s strength. It was inspiring to hear about such a great family and all they have done to help their community. I’m glad to see so many people came to give their respect to Paul and his family. This last semester will not be the same without Paul.

R.I.P. Paul St-Denis

December 26th, 2006

The news comes as a shock. Paul St-Denis our close friend and colleague at Seneca College has died.

I don’t believe it yet; it hasn’t sunk in my mind. I’m expecting to go back to school and see him. I think when school does start again will I actually realize he is not coming back. It’s like he is still on vacation right now; he is suppose to be. It is very tragic. For those who haven’t read the story click here.

This event will change the BSD class. I always remembered Paul and Moe working and chilling together; they were probably the closest. I’m kind of glad that most the BSD students were able to organize some games before Paul left. I wish we did more together, but at least we did have that time.

Rest in peace Paul St-Denis.
