Breathing a new life

February 26th, 2007

It has been a while since I’ve posted anything or have been to my classes. For all those who have been concerned don’t worry, I’m alive. Thanks for asking.

Some may already know I’ve been going through a rough time with some family issues. I’ll save the details, but things are finally taking shape and direction. My mom, sister, and I have finally moved to our new place. The move itself took about a day or two, so ideally I shouldn’t have missed all those classes. Its the little things and the changes that slow us down. I’ve been in trying to catch up in school, dealing with my family situation, and managing part-time work + indoor soccer + the rest of life.

I’m very fortunate that I have my reading week now. This is the first time I feel life has paused for me to catch up, and I plan on taking advantage of that.  I’ll see everybody after the break.

Soccer Wednesdays

January 25th, 2007

After a three year absence from soccer leagues and teams, I’ve decided to finally join a new indoor soccer team and start getting back into shape. I should of considered getting back into shape first.

The first two games were both wins =), but at the cost of some embarrassment. Soccer, especially indoor soccer, requires quick speed and change of direction. At least two things I have been lacking, so after a while of chasing quicker people I started getting heavier feet. Literally, you feel as if you have some additional weights on your ankles, and lifting each one causes you to become a little more unstable when running. This almost caused me to run into a few of my own players a few times, and also made it look like I was attacking the opponents feet rather than the ball.

Anyways, getting back to shape can be humorous; especially when you put yourself back into the wild (soccer in this case).

ImHosted.com Responded. YAY!

January 8th, 2007

My last post was about being harassed by ImHosted.com. If you recall I got some emails after I canceled my services with them. Anyways, I emailed back and got the following response:

“With regard to your query, please ignore the mails and be informed that you will not get any further mails. Thank you.” -Bill

Lets hope this is the last I hear of them.
